Use the resources below to learn how to protect your account, recognize suspicious messages, safeguard personal information, and make responsible choices online.

Protect Your Password

Use strong, unique passwords and never share your school account password with other students or unauthorized individuals.

Recognize Phishing & Scams

Be cautious of unexpected messages, links, attachments, or requests for passwords, money, or personal information.

Protect Your Privacy

Keep passwords, addresses, phone numbers, account information, and other personal details private.

Think Before You Post

Remember that posts, comments, photos, videos, and messages can be copied, shared, and have lasting consequences.

Digital Safety Guidelines

    • Use a strong password that is difficult for others to guess.
    • Do not share your school account password with friends or other students.
    • Do not reuse the same password across multiple important accounts when possible.
    • Sign out of shared or public devices when finished.
    • Never approve a login or security prompt you did not initiate.
    • If you believe someone knows your password, change it and notify school staff promptly.

    • Be cautious of unexpected emails, texts, pop-ups, or messages asking you to click a link or open an attachment.
    • Never provide your password, verification code, or personal information in response to an unexpected message.
    • Be suspicious of messages creating urgency, fear, or pressure to act immediately.
    • Check the sender carefully before responding.
    • If something seems suspicious, do not click it. Ask a trusted adult or school staff member for help.

    • Keep passwords, home addresses, phone numbers, schedules, and account information private.
    • Think carefully before sharing your location online.
    • Review privacy settings on apps and services you use.
    • Avoid posting information that could identify where you live, where you are, or when you will be away.
    • Remember that screenshots and shared content can spread beyond the original audience.

    • Communicate respectfully online just as you would in person.
    • Do not impersonate others, harass people, or intentionally spread false information.
    • Use school technology and accounts for appropriate educational purposes.
    • Do not attempt to bypass school security, filtering, monitoring, or access controls.
    • Remember that school expectations still apply when using school accounts and devices online.

    • Do not participate in online harassment, threats, humiliation, or exclusion.
    • Do not forward or repost harmful content about another person.
    • Save evidence such as screenshots when appropriate.
    • Block or disengage from harmful interactions when possible.
    • Report serious concerns to a trusted adult, teacher, counselor, or administrator.
    • If there is an immediate safety concern, contact school administration or emergency services as appropriate.

    • Stop using suspicious links or applications immediately.
    • Change your password as soon as possible.
